Hokies Football: DT Nigel Williams Not On the Injury Report, Expected To Play Against Duke

The Virginia Tech Hokies had a couple injury concerns entering the week with Justin Fuente alleviating the concerns surrounding Jerod Evans by saying that he was a full participant in practice. Meanwhile, Fuente wasn't as confident about starting DT Nigel Williams saying "We'll see" in regards to whether or not the senior defensive tackle will return to the field Today, the Hokies released their weekly injury report that came with one surprise. https://twitter.com/AndyBitterVT/status/794293120498335744 Nigel Williams was not listed on the injury report, and is now expected to start against Duke after missing wins over Miami and Pittsburgh due to an ankle injury. The senior defensive tackle hasn't put up big numbers but he has been a reliable presence up the middle and while Virginia Tech is loaded with talent at DT, having Williams back only makes that defensive line stronger.
