Hokies Men's Basketball: Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Wabissa Bede Sign Their National Letter of Intents

The Virginia Tech Hokies got off to a strong start with 2017 recruiting when Buzz Williams was able to gain a commitment from near five-star guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker. The Hokies were able to build on that in the early part of this fall when they gained a commitment from rising four-star point guard Wabissa Bede. While the Hokies are likely to add one or two more to this class, Virginia Tech has now locked in their two big 2017 commitments. https://twitter.com/VT_MBBall/status/797077889216815104 Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Wabissa Bede have signed their National Letters of Intent and are no fully committed to Virginia Tech with NCAA transfer rules applying to them should they change their mind unless Virginia Tech were to release them from their NLIs. Alexander-Walker and Bede have given the Hokies a top 20 to 30 class despite the Hokies only having them committed, showing how talented these two players are. Both players have been rising with Alexander-Walker having a chance at being a five-star recruit by the time his senior season is completed. Congrats to Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Wabissa Bede on signing their National Letters of Intent.
