Three-Star Forward PJ Horne Signs With Virginia Tech

VT Students Miami 1
After signing two recruits during the fall, the Virginia Tech were on the hunt to find a forward to add to their impressive guard duo of borderline five-star Nickeil Alexander-Walker and four-star Wabissa Bede. The Hokies found that man on February 4th when three-star forward PJ Horne announced his commitment to Virginia Tech not long after getting an offer from the Hokies. Now, the former teammate of Virginia Tech PG Tyrie Jackson has made his commitment to Virginia Tech official. https://twitter.com/VT_MBBall/status/852220652014772242 PJ Horne signed his National Letter of Intent today to become the third player to sign with the Hokies from the Class of 2017. Horne is the only forward in this class with the Hokies being very unlikely to add any more recruits from the high school level this cycle even if someone were to decide to transfer away from Virginia Tech and open up a scholarship. Horne had a dominant senior year for Tift County High School averaging 25.3 points and 11.0 rebounds in his final year of high school basketball. Virginia Tech was one of three schools to have offered him along with Middle Tennessee State and Murray State.
