Football seasons is almost two months away and while that may seem like a long time, national media attention will be starting to shift to the upcoming college football season with the ACC set to host their annual media kickoff event July 13th and 14th in Charlotte. With the event a couple of weeks away, the player representatives for each ACC team were announced today. https://twitter.com/TechSideline/status/879701923254984707 Seniors Cam Phillips and Andrew Motuapuaka will be the Hokies' player representatives at the ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, joining head coach Justin Fuente. The choice of the two seniors is unsurprising given their strong performances in 2016 along with how they are the two most well-known returning seniors. The choice of Phillips and Motuapuaka definitely confirms that the pair of seniors have emerged as leaders of this Hokies' team as most expected. Both seem likely to be captains for this team with Motuapuaka stepping up as the leader at mike linebacker while Phillips is the one returning star on the Hokies' offense that will have a huge role as the main veteran while also having a great chance to break some of Isaiah Ford's records. Football isn't far away Hokies.
