Long Snapper Oscar Shadley Commits to Virginia Tech

The Virginia Tech Hokies continue to pursue elite recruits at all positions including on special teams and today, the Hokies added the best long snapper in America.

U.S. Army All-American long snapper Oscar Shadley from Naples, Florida announced that he has committed to Virginia Tech. Shadley is the 18th commit for the Hokies including the fourth this cycle from Florida and will be on scholarship in Blacksburg.

Shadley is a great get for the Hokies as while he isn’t rated by the recruiting services, he is ranked as the best long snapper in America according to Rubio Long Snapping along with accepting an invitation to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. VT also wasn’t the only school the extend Shadley a full-ride scholarship as the Floridian also had offers from Oregon, Marshall, and FIU.

Congrats to Oscar Shadley on his commitment to Virginia Tech.
