Bradburn, the 6’1” freshman from Sydney, Australia, has punted 31 times this season for a total of 1,358 yards. He is third in the ACC with a net-punting average of 43.8 yards per punt, and he has pinned nine of his punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. Eight of his punts have been over 50 yards.
The Hokies’ punt return unit has allowed only 4 yards throughout the season so far, and 16 of Bradburn’s 31 punts have been fair catches, ranking second in the ACC. Bradburn is only the second true freshman ever to wear the legendary 25 after then-true freshman Divine Deablo wore #25 at Pittsburgh last season.
Congrats to Oscar Bradburn on getting to wear the #25 jersey against UNC.
