Virginia Tech Continues to Lead for Four-Star OL Bryan Hudson

Bryan Hudson Spring Visit 1
After a great Junior Day visit, Bryan Hudson told us that Virginia Tech were the leaders in his recruitment. This past weekend, Hudson returned to Blacksburg for another visit that kept the Hokies right at the top of his recruitment. The Kentucky native told us that Virginia Tech continues to lead in his recruitment after a "great" visit this past weekend. What did Hudson do while he was in Blacksburg? "I got up and watched a morning practice and saw campus, the dorms, dining facilities, and position meetings. I also got to talk with Coach Fuente and Coach Vice for a while," Hudson said. "I had a great talk with the coaches and saw everything that I hadn’t seen before." Yes, Hudson did get up for one of the Hokies' 5:30 a.m. morning workouts, something that I know I wouldn't do as a high schooler. Then again, I wasn't a high school football player either. When we asked Hudson what stood out about his visit, he told us that "I really enjoyed watching Coach Vice and Coach Fuente work. I also loved talking with both of them for a long time both days I was there." This visit only strengthened the Hokies' position as the leader in Hudson's recruitment. So why does Virginia Tech continue to lead for him? "I really like the culture of the program. Campus life is awesome and the facilities are great," Hudson said. "I have a really good relationship with the coaches and relate to them very well. I love the attitude of the team." One of the main reasons why the Hokies lead is because of Bryan Hudson's relationship with Justin Fuente and Vance Vice. "I have gotten very comfortable with both Coach Fuente and Vice. I feel like I relate to both of them very well as a person and football player," said Hudson when asked about his growing relationship with VT's coaches. Coming off this visit, Hudson told us that he is looking at making a decision in the next "4-5 weeks" while taking multiple visits this weekend across SEC country to LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. Virginia Tech and LSU are two of the schools recruiting Hudson the hardest along with in-state Louisville where some of his family currently attends. Right now, Virginia Tech is the favorite for Hudson and we have since made a prediction in the Hokies' favor. Hudson has built a strong relationship with both Justin Fuente and Vance Vice while he has grown comfortable around VT's program. The fact that Hudson also got up for one of the Hokies' early morning workouts is another great sign of his high interest in Virginia Tech. The Hokies are in great shape for Bryan Hudson after another great visit, but they still have some work to do to beat out top challengers like LSU and Louisville.
