Virginia Tech Hosts a Group of 757 Recruits Including Three-Star DL Adarious Jones

HOKIES Flag 1 1
Virginia Tech is hosting a coaching clinic this weekend, bringing many high schools football coaches and some recruits on campus this weekend. While the coming snowstorm is keeping away some recruits, there are still some recruits visiting VT today including a group from the 757. https://twitter.com/Ajones3855/status/977555444368662529?s=19 https://twitter.com/Nehkimeredith14/status/977554003461632001?s=19 Three-star DL Adarious Jones, 2020 four-star S Nehki Meredith, and 2020 three-star OL Altrique Barlow headline the group of 757 visitors in Blacksburg today. We've also heard that a few 757 visitors without offers are in Blacksburg including ATH Jayden Lilly, 2020 WR Quinton Gregory, and 2020 ATH CJ Scott. Adarious Jones is one of Virginia Tech's top defensive line priorities in the 2019 class. Jones has the versatility to play at either DE or DT though most expect him to end up at defensive tackle at the collegiate level. Virginia Tech is currently the favorite and we stand by our current prediction that is in VT's favor. Nehki Meredith was initially seen as a wide receiver, but he has developed into one of the top safety prospects in the country. Currently, Meredith is ranked as the fifth best safety in the country by 247 Sports. 2020 three-star OL Altrique Barlow was one of Virginia Tech's first offers in the 2020 class. Auburn and Charlotte have also offered Barlow with other power 5 programs showing interest in him. For the Hokies, this is a great opportunity to continue build their relationship with top 757 talents like Jones, Meredith, and Barlow as VT continues to make the 757 a top priority.
