2020 Four-Star DB Cameron Roseman-Sinclair Excited About Virginia Tech Offer

Edmunds Brothers Stroman 1
Virginia Tech has shown interest in 2020 four-star DB Cameron Roseman-Sinclair for months, but hadn't extended an offer. That changed yesterday when Roseman-Sinclair received a Virginia Tech offer. https://twitter.com/cambinothegod3/status/999421326048878592 Roseman-Sinclair told us that he was "extremely excited" to receive an offer from the Hokies. As we mentioned earlier, the offer wasn't a surprise as the Hokies had been showing interest for a while, and Roseman-Sinclair said he was "expecting" an offer. So how does this offer impact his recruitment and Virginia Tech's standing in it? "It Impacts my recruitment a lot since they're a big DB school, and they're pretty high up there now," Cameron Roseman-Sinclair said. Roseman-Sinclair added that he doesn't have any schools standing out in his recruitment at the moment. However, the Hokies are among the schools recruiting him the hardest along with North Carolina and Clemson, who hasn't offered him yet. James Shibest has been the one primarily recruiting Roseman-Sinclair for the Hokies. The four-star DB told us that he has had a "great relationship (with Shibest) since the first time I met him my freshman year." The Hokies do have an interesting connection as well as Roseman-Sinclair is teammates with VT commit Elijah Bowick. What became clear quickly is that Roseman-Sinclair and Bowick are quite good friends, and that his relationship with Bowick has an impact on VT's standing "It has a huge impact since he’s the guy I’m going against everyday, and we hang out every weekend together so we spend a lot of time together," Roseman-Sinclair said. He added that there is "kind of" an appeal to trying to play together at the next level in Blacksburg. Cameron Roseman-Sinclair visited Virginia Tech in late March for an unofficial visit that was "great". What stood out to Roseman-Sinclair about his visit? "Just the coaching staff and the way they carry themselves, and seeing how my position group works in the film room was great." Roseman-Sinclair plans on returning to Blacksburg this summer for a visit while also intending to visit Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Louisville. Virginia Tech has been pursuing Cameron Roseman-Sinclair for a while and have made the move to extend an offer to the talented Charlotte defensive back. Early on, the Hokies appear poised to be a major contender in his recruitment while having the benefit of having a close connection via Elijah Bowick.
