Virginia Tech is Showing Interest in 2020 OL Seth Williams

Seth Williams only has two offers but as summer approaches, Williams is ready to hit the summer camp circuit with interest from plenty of power 5 programs including Virginia Tech. "I’ve visited (Virginia Tech) for the past 2 spring games, the (North) Carolina game, and a summer camp last year and each visit; they keep showing more interest," Williams said. Virginia Tech has had Williams on their radar for a good amount of time now and are recruiting the 6'4'', 292-lb lineman as a center though Williams does have some experience playing tackle. That versatility has likely increased Vance Vice's interest especially with how he tries to develop linemen at multiple spots. Currently, UVA and Charlotte are recruiting Williams the hardest largely because of their offers, but he added that the Hokies and North Carolina aren't far behind in their interest. In addition, Williams added that VT and UNC are the two schools that are the most likely to offer him soon in Williams' opinion. Williams' most recent visit came for the Hokies' Spring Game which went well according to the 2020 offensive lineman. "It was good. I stayed for two days. The first day I toured the school and some of the school facilities and the second day was the spring game. I had great conversations with Coach (Vance) Vice and Coach (James) Shibest. I really enjoyed visiting the academic part and talking with a former offensive linemen who was showing us around campus," Williams said about his visit. The Hokies are showing a lot of interest in Williams who will have a great chance to earn a VT offer soon. Over the next month, Williams is giving himself lots of opportunities to earn offers from power 5 programs throughout the region. As summer camps begin at schools across the country, Seth Williams will be looking to earn multiple new power 5 offers including one from Virginia Tech.
