Three-Star WR Tayvion Robinson Commits to Virginia Tech

Since the Hokies offered him, 757 star WR Tayvion Robinson has been a top priority for VT. During that time, VT has been the favorite in his recruitment with Robinson calling the Hokies his leader in the past. Today, Robinson decided to end his recruitment. https://twitter.com/RobinsonTayvion/status/1011033282182512640 Three-star WR Tayvion Robinson announced today that he has committed to Virginia Tech. Robinson is the Hokies' 11th overall commit and fifth from Virginia this cycle. He is also the second commitment this month from the 757 alongside four-star CB Cam'Ron Kelly. In addition, Robinson is the second true WR commit joining Elijah Bowick while VT also has commitments from likely WR Jaden Payoute and ATH Jahad Carter. The Hokies have the most in-state recruiting momentum they've had in years now with Robinson joining four-star recruits Jaden Payoute and Cam'Ron Kelly as in-state commits this month, giving VT three of the state's likely consensus top 10 players.

Rivals rates Robinson as a four-star recruit and has him ranked as the 232nd best recruit in the country. Among athletes, Robinson is ranked 17th best by Rivals, 37th best by the 247 Sports Composite, and 54th best by ESPN and 247 Sports. In Virginia, Robinson is ranked sixth best by Rivals, 12th best by the 247 Sports Composite, 14th best by 247 Sports, and 16th best by ESPN.
