Last summer, Justin Fuente and his staff sent out a few offers through their satellite camps including one to Malik Willis who would commit within a week before famously decommitting during the first half of the Belk Bowl and signing with Auburn.
This year, the Hokies are hitting the road and have already sent out an offer to a recruit from their first stop in Richmond.

Virginia Tech offered 2019 WR/CB Jahad Carter out of Henrico High School in the Richmond area. The Hokies are the second to offer Carter joining Temple with this offer likely to draw a lot of regional attention.
Carter likely won’t be the only recruit Virginia Tech will extend an offer to during these satellite camps and is the latest example of how satellite camps are helping coaches evaluate talent that they may not be able to get on campus for a camp.
