Hokies Football: OG Aiden Brown Commits to Virginia Tech

The Blacksburg Bash has been quite good for the Virginia Tech Hokies with VT gaining their first 3 commits of the day from 2018 WR/ATH Bryce Thompson, 2017 three-star WR Sean Savoy, and 2017 three-star OLB Jaylen Griffin though Griffin announced a couple hours after informing the Hokies of his decision. However, Virginia Tech's good recruiting day has gotten even better. OG Aiden Brown of The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland became Virginia Tech's first offensive line commit of the Class of 2017 today. Brown has 16 offers with the Hokies being the only power 5 offer after offering him right after a camp in Blacksburg back in June. Brown became a top offensive line target for the Hokies after they offered him in June, and Vance Vice has been persistent in trying to seal the deal to get his first OL commit of the Class of 2017. The Hokies have also been the favorites since offering Brown so today's commitment isn't a big surprise. With Aiden Brown on board, the Hokies' push for in-state OL guys like Tyran Hunt and Mekhi Becton will only increase while Marcus Minor and Carter Warren seem to also be high on their OL target list. Aiden Brown is another quality addition for the Hokies as Virginia Tech gets their first offensive line commit of the Class of 2017.
