Hokies Basketball: Virginia Tech Reportedly Gains 2019 Commitments From BJ Mack, Keyshaun Langley, and Kobe Langley

Buzz Williams and the Virginia Tech Hokies have been busy hosting some recruits in Blacksburg over the past couple weekend with a huge weekend coming up as 4* 2017 PG and top target Wabissa Bede is visiting this weekend along with 2017 4* VT SG commit Nickeil Alexander-Walker. The Hokies have been gaining momentum in their pursuit of Bede and while most following Virginia Tech basketball recruiting have been focused on Bede, Virginia Tech insiders and fans got what is reportedly a major surprise this evening. https://twitter.com/TheVTZone/status/779156966367264768 The VT Zone of the Scout Network is reporting that the Hokies have gained three 2019 commitments from big man BJ Mack, and guards Keyshaun Langley and Kobe Langley, all out of North Carolina. All three players visited Virginia Tech last weekend and have decided to commit to Virginia Tech with it seeming like they are priorities for the Hokies in the Class of 2019. For the Hokies, having these three commits so early is impressive and also likely leaves only one or two more spots at most in this recruiting class. There are some interesting targets left on the board and depending on how many scholarships the Hokies have available in this class, a wing will probably be the top target followed by trying to add another big if the Hokies have five scholarships available. Buzz Williams and his staff have also made a big recruiting statement getting three 2019 recruits in one swoop which is almost unheard of. Williams has shown some impressive recruiting skills in the past but this has to go down as his biggest moment on the recruiting gaining three commitments at once. The Hokies have made a statement on the basketball recruiting trail gaining three big 2019 commits from BJ Mack, and twins Kobe Langley and Keyshaun Langley.
