[Credit: Harley Taylor][/caption]The Virginia Tech Hokies have seen a lot of turnover at the quarterback spot ahead of the start of a new semester in Blacksburg with Virginia Tech gaining a commitment from JUCO QB AJ Bush and seeing 2017 three-star QB commit Hendon Hooker make the decision to enroll early at Virginia Tech. Of course, the biggest news came in the form of starter Jerod Evans announcing that he would declare for the NFL Draft, setting the stage for those other two moves. Now, there's another QB headed to Blacksburg. https://twitter.com/RyanWillis14/status/819354085623271424 Kansas QB Ryan Willis will transfer from the Jayhawks to Virginia Tech and join the Hokies as a walk-on this spring. Willis will sit out and redshirt this season due to NCAA transfer rules even though he is only a walk-on and will have two years of eligibility after he sits out. Willis played as a freshman and a sophomore as he made 8 starts as a freshman and 3 as a sophomore, but Willis didn't have a lot of success with 9 touchdown and 10 interceptions through the air in 2015 before having 3 touchdowns and 8 interceptions through the air in 2016 while setting a Kansas freshman record for passing yards with 1,719 as a freshman. Willis may not be eligible to play next fall, but he will provide some extra competition this spring that should only help with the development of Virginia Tech's growing stable of QBs.
