2021 RB Evan Pryor Talks About His Virginia Tech Offer

Evan Pryor June 2018 Camp 1
After competing in a 7-vs-7 football tournament earlier this year at Virginia Tech, Evan Pryor made a return trip for Virginia Tech's camp. Before Pryor left Blacksburg, he received a new offer. https://twitter.com/evanpryor3/status/1003356564932132865 Virginia Tech extended an offer to Charlotte area RB Evan Pryor. The Hokies became the tenth school and third ACC program to offer Pryor. Pryor was quite excited about receiving an offer from the Hokies today. "I was once again in awe getting an offer from a program like VT who's up there with the best of them. Truly a blessing." Pryor told us that Justin Fuente pulled him aside to extend him a Virginia Tech offer. Pryor told us that Fuente being the one who extended him the offer "meant a lot" to him. While being offered was the highlight of Pryor's day, Virginia Tech made a strong impression as a whole from the moment he arrived in Blacksburg. "It was great. While we were looking for the football facility, we drove through campus and it looked great. The coaching staff was great as well. They made it feel like home and I want to hang more," Pryor told us. Looking ahead, Pryor told us that he plans to make a return trip to Virginia Tech "before the summer is over." For the Hokies, it'll be important to get Pryor on campus often beyond this summer especially given how he is poised to be one of the top running backs in the 2021 class. In addition, Pryor told us that he is hoping to visit Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, and UCLA sometime soon. While Pryor is still quite early in his recruitment, the Hokies definitely made a strong impression today highlighted by extending him his tenth offer.
