Virginia Tech Makes the Top 5 for Three-Star RB Jordan Houston

VT Offensive Huddle 2
Jordan Houston recently released his top 5 which unsurprisingly included Virginia Tech. https://twitter.com/usmigo/status/1020445465752604672 The Hokies made the cut for the three-star RB alongside Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, and North Carolina. Houston has been planning on cutting his list down for months with the Hokies being expected to make the cut. Earlier this year, Virginia Tech appeared to be the clear favorite for Jordan Houston, but things have become more cloudy over the past couple of months. Michigan has emerged as a legitimate contender for Houston since offering him while Maryland has been among the schools pursuing him the hardest and also is a top contender. Given the timing of this top 5, it appears likely that Houston will take official visits to all five of these schools. While there was a time when it seemed like Houston may commit during the summer, the fact that he's releasing a top 5 suggests that he plans to wait till later in the fall to make a decision. Virginia Tech is in the hunt for Jordan Houston as his recruitment begins to formally narrow down to the top contenders.
