2020 Four-Star ATH Ethan West Recaps "Awesome" Virginia Tech Visit

Ethan West 2018 Junior Day
2020 four-star ATH Ethan West made his first gameday visit to Blacksburg this weekend for the Hokies' 62-17 victory over William & Mary. After his visit, West caught up with us to talk about his visit. West told us that he had an "awesome" visit to Blacksburg with the "atmosphere" of Lane Stadium standing out to him. After the visit, West told us that the Hokies are "pretty high" in his recruitment with this visit appearing to help their standing in his recruitment even more. West told us that this visit also gave him a chance to get closer with some of Virginia Tech's commits including a pair of Richmond area commits who both visited in four-star ATH Jaden Payoute and three-star OC William Pritchard. Previously, West told us that he had plans to visit Clemson this weekend, but that visit seems likely to be rescheduled given the travel and regional risk from Hurricane Florence along with the potential for that game to be postponed or cancelled. Michigan is another team that West seems likely to try to take a visit to sometime in the near future as one of the schools recruiting him the hardest. Virginia Tech left a strong impression on Ethan West's first gameday visit to Blacksburg with the Hokies continuing to be a top contender in his recruitment.
