Four-Star PG/SG Anthony Harris Commits to Virginia Tech

Buzz Williams Miami 1 1
Throughout the past year, four-star guard Anthony Harris has been one of the top targets for Buzz Williams and Virginia Tech with Harris showing mutual interest throughout. Today, just under a month after his Virginia Tech official visit, Harris gave the Hokies some momentum on the recruiting trail. https://twitter.com/MANZANT3/status/1047199616024895488?s=19 Anthony Harris announced that he has committed to Virginia Tech, becoming the Hokies' first 2019 commit and one of their highest-rated commits of the Buzz Williams era. Harris chose the Hokies over a host of other major offers including Wake Forest (another school that received an official visit), Miami and Connecticut (2 schools that Harris cancelled official visits to), Louisville, Ohio State, Florida, and multiple others. Harris has the talent to come in and play significant minutes as a true freshman with Justin Robinson and Ahmed Hill graduating from the Hokies' backcourt in addition to wings Ty Outlaw and Chris Clarke. Congrats to Anthony Harris on his commitment to Virginia Tech.
