N Xuxy RB
Virginia Tech had plenty of top talent on campus this past weekend including four-star recruit Bryn Tucker, one of the top 10 offensive tackles in the 2020 class. After his visit, Tucker caught up with us to recap his trip to Blacksburg. Tucker told us that he had an "unbelievable" visit to Virginia Tech and that "everything was just awesome." He also added that the Hokies' renown Enter Sandman entrance was "amazing." On his visit, Tucker also got to tour the Hokies' recently completed weight room and said "it looks great." While on campus, Tucker had the chance to spend some time with OL coach Vance Vice. During those conversations, Tucker told us that Vice emphasized how the Hokies need players like Tucker to lead the way on the offensive line, making it even clearer how much VT wants the Knoxville OT. In addition, Tucker said that he was "impacted a lot" by getting to see a true freshman start at left tackle with Christian Darrisaw, getting to see how VT's claims of freshmen having the chance to earn early playing time are legitimate and provable. Right now, Tucker told us that he still has his same top 5 of Virginia Tech, Tennessee, LSU, Notre Dame, and Auburn as he revealed this summer. For now, Virginia Tech is pushing hard and it's clear that the Hokies are a legitimate contender for one of the best offensive tackles in America in the 2020 class. Virginia Tech wowed Bryn Tucker on his visit this weekend with the Hokies continuing to be among the top contenders for the elite 2020 offensive lineman.
