2020 Four-Star DB Nehki Meredith Recaps His Recent Virginia Tech Visit

Nehki Meredith VT ND
Nekhi Meredith was one of the many talented recruits on campus just over a week ago. Recently, the four-star 757 DB caught up with us about his visit to Blacksburg and his recruitment, and had this to say about that visit. "I enjoyed it. Khalil Ladler and #21 (Reggie Floyd) really impressed me," Meredith said. "I feel like I can fill one of those roles with ease. I loved the fact that they played a nickel every down." In addition to being impressed with the Hokies' safeties and defensive scheme, Meredith said that the "game was pretty live" and that the energy and volume of the crowd "messed up" his ears. Coming out of this visit, the four-star DB told us that he plans to make the Hokies a "priority" in his recruitment, a great sign for VT's hopes in their pursuit of him. Looking ahead this fall, Meredith plans to make a return trip to Blacksburg along with a trip to Duke though he is likely to take other visits and has no exact dates for those first two visits. Bud Foster and Virginia Tech left a great impression on Nehki Meredith with the Hokies emerging as a contender for the talented four-star DB from the 757.
