After
Anthony Harris became the Hokies' first 2019 commit at the beginning of October, Virginia Tech gained their second commitment of the month from three-star point guard Andre Gordon.

Gordon is also the second guard to commit to the Hokies with both Gordon and Harris being seen by some as combo guards though Harris appears to be more versatile whereas Gordon seems more likely to be a point guard in part due to his size.
The Huntington Prep guard chose the Hokies over several other high level programs including Xavier, Boston College, Dayton, and 2018 Final Four team Loyola-Chicago.
With Gordon's commitment, the Hokies continue to build momentum on the recruiting with four-star big man Qudus Wahab among the top VT targets expected on campus in the near future.
Congrats to Andre Gordon on his commitment to Virginia Tech.
