Virginia Tech has sent out several offers over the past few weeks including one to 2021 FL WR Semaj James.

The Hokies are the first power 5 program and fourth program overall to offer James so far. James had this to say about his VT offer.
"It was crazy because it didn’t hit me yet until I realized I just got offered by a school with one of the largest fan bases in history and I just wanted to thank the man above for giving me this opportunity to play this game," James told us.
The 6'2'' WR added that he believes this offer shows what he's "capable of" with many other programs likely to take notice now that James has a power 5 offer.
Before the offer, Toledo was recruiting James the hardest while he had also visited Florida Atlantic earlier this fall. Looking ahead, James is hoping to visit Virginia Tech, Miami, and Florida while he also seems likely to try to reschedule a visit to Toledo in the near future.
Virginia Tech has become the first power 5 program to get involved in the recruitment of Semaj James though the Hokies most likely won't be the only power 5 offer.
