Virginia Tech’s game against Virginia on Nov. 23 will kick of at 3:30 p.m. and be broadcast on ABC, the ACC announced earlier Monday. It will be the third consecutive 3:30 game for the Hokies. With the announcement of the kickoff time, the Hokies will finish their regular season without playing a noon kickoff. There is still some speculation that Virginia Tech will schedule a 12th game to make up for the canceled ECU game, but nothing has been announced at this time. If the game against UVA is the regular season finale for the Hokies, they will finish the season having played four 3:30 p.m. games, one 2 p.m. game, one 3:45 p.m. game and five primetime games. The last time the Commonwealth Clash kicked off at 3:30 was during the 2013 season. Since then, the game has either been a primetime Black Friday game or a noon game on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The Hokies end their season with two big rivalry games at home, taking on Miami this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. before hosting in-state rival Virginia next weekend. Virginia Tech needs to win both games in order to become eligible for the 26th consecutive season.
