2021 DB Bryce Steele "Excited" About Recent Virginia Tech Offer

Corps Flags 1
The focus of the past couple weeks has been on 2019 recruiting as Virginia Tech signed 19 players on Early Signing, four of whom committed this month including three-star DT Josh Fuga, three-star JUCO DT Dashawn Crawford, three-star JUCO LB Amare Barno, and three-star JUCO CB Brion Murray. However, the Hokies have also been busy with future recruiting classes extending several offers including one to 2021 DB Bryce Steele out of Episcopal HS in Alexandria, VA. https://twitter.com/bryce_steele1/status/1073001383694086144 "I was really excited, VT is most definitely a school I could see myself playing at," Steele said about his reaction to his VT offer. Steele added that he was a "little surprised" by the offer, and that WRs coach Holmon Wiggins offered him hours after Wiggins visited Steele at his school. Looking ahead, Steele told us that he has a visit to Virginia scheduled for January along with visits to Boston College and Michigan later in the spring. In addition, Steele hopes to visit Virginia Tech sometime in the near future along with Georgia, South Carolina, and Pittsburgh. When Steele initially received his offer, he told us that Boston College had been recruiting him the hardest while Michigan and North Carolina were among the schools leaving a strong impression on him. However, it seems like the Hokies could quickly get involved as a major player in his recruitment after extending an offer to him. Bryce Steele is emerging as one of Northern Virginia's most talented 2021 recruits with Virginia Tech showing lots of interest in him.

Bryce Steele's Offer List

  • ACC: Virginia Tech, Boston College, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia
  • Big 10: Michigan
  • Conference USA: FIU
  • MAC: Bowling Green
