Virginia Tech has been busy extending lots of new offers over the past week including talented 757 running back CJ Beasley. https://twitter.com/CJBeasley7x/status/1083872391858700290 Beasley had this to say about his reaction to receiving a Virginia Tech offer. "Words can’t even explain how excited I was. In my head, all I could think was I got to keep working because wherever I go, I don’t want to go just to be on the team, I want to go to be the best." Beasley added that he was "kind of expecting" an offer soon given the Hokies' desire to have him visit Blacksburg, but that this offer also impacts his recruitment in a "big time" way. The good news for Virginia Tech is that they will be hosting him on campus soon as they were hoping for with Beasley set to visit Blacksburg next weekend, January 26th. When he does get to VT, he is hoping to get a feel for "the atmosphere" at VT and see "something that stands out and catches my eye." Beasley has four offers now with East Carolina currently recruiting him the hardest though the Hokies' interest in him seems likely to grow significantly now. More offers seem likely to be coming soon for Beasley after he had 1,778 rushing yards with 19 rushing touchdowns and 424 receiving yards with 4 receiving touchdowns this past season. Virginia Tech has momentum in their pursuit after their recent offer of CJ Beasley with a chance to build on that coming up in less than two weeks.
