2020 Four-Star WR KeAndre Lambert Recaps His Virginia Tech Junior Day Visit

Ke Andre Lambert Jan 2019
757 star and 2020 four-star WR KeAndre Lambert was one of the headline visitors for Virginia Tech's first Junior Day of 2019 with the four-star WR telling us that he had a "very nice" visit to Blacksburg. https://twitter.com/KeAndreDL2/status/1087003501346074624 So what stood out for Lambert on his visit? "The school itself is just great. The dorm rooms, the history of each building, and the Hokie stone," Lambert said. On his visit, Lambert was able to tour the campus, have a uniform photo shoot, and spend time with the Virginia Tech coaching staff. During his time spent with Justin Fuente, Brad Cornelsen, and Zohn Burden; Lambert told us that they talked "about the system and how they would love for me to be in it." Zohn Burden has led the charge in pursuit of Lambert with the four-star WR telling us that he has a "pretty strong" relationship with Burden and that this visit "just made the bond a bit closer." Lambert also told us that his relationship with head coach Justin Fuente is continuing to grow "stronger and stronger." One of the most notable things may be his relationship with offensive coordinator Brad Cornelsen that appears to be quite strong. "It’s becoming stronger. I sat down with him last weekend and we talked football. Attracted good vibes," Lambert said. Coming off this visit, Lambert told us that the Hokies stand "pretty high" in his recruitment and that "it let me know if i could see myself their with that staff for the next few years." Lambert made a trip to Clemson this weekend that appeared to go well based on social media while he also has trips to Virginia, Penn State, Michigan, Florida, and South Carolina in the coming weeks. For now, what is clear is that Virginia Tech will be a top contender for KeAndre Lambert as they continue to make the 757 playmaker one of their top overall priorities in the 2019 class.
