Virginia Tech Offers 2021 DT Tyleik Williams

VT Fans 1
Virginia Tech has had a lot of success recruiting and developing players out of Stonewall Jackson High School in Northern Virginia including Ryan Williams, Greg Stroman, Tim Settle, and Reggie Floyd. Now, the Hokies are hoping they can add and develop another talented recruit out of Stonewall Jackson in 2021 DT Tyleik Williams. https://twitter.com/dawggty/status/1103636898734661632 "It was crazy. One of my dream schools growing up," Williams said about receiving a Virginia Tech offer. "I think it’s going to put me on the map to get recognized more." Williams has only received three offers, but his offer list is quite strong including the Hokies, Penn State, and Virginia. Additionally, Williams is receiving interest from plenty of other power 5 programs including Clemson (where he visited this weekend), and Notre Dame and Syracuse; two places where Williams hopes to visit soon. Williams did visit Virginia Tech earlier this spring and told us that he had a "fun" visit when he was on campus. He said that he was impressed by Virginia Tech's strength and conditioning program especially with "how they change people's bodies." One unique advantage for the Hokies with Williams is their connection to Stonewall Jackson HS especially given the success of another former Stonewall Jackson DT in Tim Settle. "It’s big knowing that they have worked with similar players to me like Tim Settle and helped him get to the NFL," Williams said. Overall, Tyleik Williams told us that Virginia Tech is "high" in his recruitment and one of his "favorite schools" as the Hokies are in great shape early in his recruitment.
