With many high schools across the country on Spring Break this week, Virginia Tech has hosted several talented recruits on midweek visits including 2021 four-star WR Joshua Burrell who definitely enjoyed his midweek visit to Blacksburg.

"It was great, always a great time being on campus," Burrell said about his VT visit.

While on campus, Joshua Burrell was quite busy from seeing the Hokies practice to touring facilities and spending time with the coaches.

"First, we watched the team practice and just took it all in. Then we went and had an academic meeting in the academic facilities. We went to the weight room, and they talked about how they plan on redoing it and making it bigger and better. They also talked about the development of the players there in the weight room over the years. We had a photo shoot, grabbed lunch, and throughout the whole day we talked to the coaches and had a good time," Burrell said.

While Burrell did a lot on his visit, it was the relational side of his visit that stood out the most.

"Just seeing how our (him and his brother, 2021 DB Jordan Burrell) relationships with the coaches are getting better and more comfortable," Joshua Burrell said about what stood out on his visit.

This visit also gave Burrell the opportunity to meet VT's new WRs Jafar Williams with the talented Palmetto State recruit coming away with a solid first impression of him.

"I just met him today, he seems like a really good coach. I got his contact information and he might be down during our spring practices," Burrell said.

So how did this visit impact his recruitment and his view of Virginia Tech?

"It just reminds me that Tech is a great place to be and showed me more about the school. Gives me more to remember when considering Virginia Tech," Burrell said.

Virginia Tech continues to build a stronger relationship with four-star WR Joshua Burrell after his latest of what seems like a multitude of trips to VT for the South Carolina WR in his short time on the recruiting radar over the past several months.
