2020 QB Noah Kim Commits to Virginia Tech

Shortly after Virginia Tech's 2020 recruiting class lost a commitment, the Hokies have gained one in quarterback Noah Kim. Kim announced on Twitter on Thursday afternoon that he had received an offer and committed to Virginia Tech. Warren has reopened his recruitment after receiving multiple Power 5 offers since committing to the Hokies last August. Hanover Sports reported the news on Wednesday morning. With Kim's commitment to Tech, the Hokies now have three players in their class of 2020. Kim joins Tyreem Powell and Jalin Hyatt in the recruiting class. The 6-foot-1, 163-pound quarterback is a native of Chantilly, Va. and attends Westfield High School. Tech was the first Power 5 school to offer Kim, and just the second FBS school. He previously had offers from Fordham, Holy Cross, Sacred Heart, Western Michigan and William & Mary. Kim will join a crowded quarterback room when he arrives in 2020. Quarterbacks Hendon Hooker, Quincy Patterson and Luke Bussel (walk-on) are all underclassmen and will still have multiple years of eligibility when Kim joins the team. The Hokies also have two additional quarterbacks coming in this season with 2019 commit Knox Kadum and Oregon transfer Braxton Burmeister, who is expected to sit out in 2019.
