Virginia Tech Standing Out For 2020 Four-Star DB Cameron Roseman-Sinclair Ahead of Visit

Belk Bowl Defense 1
When Virginia Tech offered Cameron Roseman-Sinclair in May, it quickly became clear that the four-star safety from Charlotte was going to be a priority in the 2020 class. Ahead of his weekend visit to Blacksburg, the four-star safety and teammate of VT commit Elijah Bowick updated us on his recruitment. He told us that Virginia Tech, Louisville, and West Virginia are standing out in his recruitment with the Hokies recruiting him the hardest. He added that the Hokies are standing out in his recruitment because of the "family feeling" at VT, the fact that his "best friend" (Elijah Bowick) is committed to VT, and the "strong bond" that he has been building with VT assistant James Shibest who is leading the push for him on the recruiting trail. This weekend's visit will be Roseman-Sinclair's first since the spring and he's hoping to "see the family vibe" while at VT. In addition, Roseman-Sinclair hopes to visit VT, Clemson, Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee, and Maryland for games this fall. Roseman-Sinclair has a strong offer list currently and told us that he feels Florida State is the school that may be closest to offering him. Looking ahead, the four-star Myers Park DB plans to cut down his list of schools in January. Currently, the Hokies are in very good position for him and are benefitting from his relationship with VT commit Elijah Bowick. However, it's clear that the Hokies have made him a priority and James Shibest is laying the ground work for VT to be a serious contender throughout his recruitment no matter how large his offer list grows. In the short term, the Hokies have a great opportunity to impress the four-star safety this weekend with their annual end of summer recruiting barbecue that has an impressive list of visitors assembled.
