While Virginia Tech is expected to have starting receivers Eric Kumah and Hezekiah Grimsley this week, the Hokies will be without Yosuah Nijman.

According to Mike Burnop, the Hokies will be without Nijman due to an undisclosed injury. With Nijman out, Silas Dzansi seems likely to start with either Dzansi or Christian Darrisaw sliding to right tackle to replace Nijman.
It is also unknown whether Nijman will be able to play next week against Marshall should the Hokies beat Virginia in the 100th edition of the Commonwealth Cup today.
For Nijman, it has to be a major disappointment for him to miss out on his Senior Day while giving the Hokies a pair of freshman for their starting offensive tackles today.
Virginia Tech has confirmed that Yosuah Nijman will be out for today’s game against Virginia.
Coach Foster will be calling the defense from the coaching booth.
