Virginia Tech hosted lots of recruits on the weekend before the start of fall camp including 2024 four-star DB TyShun White out of Georgia powerhouse Buford HS with the Hokies extending an offer during his visit.

White had this to say about his reaction to receiving an offer from the Hokies.
"I was blessed first off to be offered by the school, and excited that they took the chance on me by offering," White said.
He received the offer during a conversation with head coach Brent Pry that went well as he told us.
"It was a great conversation with coach. I got to talk to him about how they would use me in the defense and the history about Virginia Tech," White said.
Virginia Tech joins an extremely impressive offer list of 37 schools that also includes Texas A&M, Penn State, Florida, Florida State, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan State, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Nebraska, Missouri, North Carolina, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Boston College, Vanderbilt, UCF, Duke, and more.
So how was his Virginia Tech visit as a whole?
"My VT visit was awesome, really enjoyed it," White said.
He also had this to say about why it was an "awesome" visit for him.
"The family feel and the coaches really. They made me really feel like it was the place to be, and the way people interacted with each other," White said.
His visit included getting to visit the entire Virginia Tech campus along with spend time with the staff and players. White spent tons of time with safeties coach Pierson Prioleau along with head coach Brent Pry. He had this to say about his conversations and time with Prioleau.
"It was great. We talked about the secondary's playing style and how they use certain players," White said.
His conversations and time with Pry also went well as he shared.
"My time was great talking to him. I got to talk to him while we were watching the camp they had together. We talked about how he runs his defense and how they play defense," White said.
With all that in mind, what stood out the most from White's visit to Blacksburg?
"The culture, the coaches' vibe, and how everyone talks to everyone," White said.
So how did this offer and visit impact his recruitment and where Virginia Tech stands in it?
"This offer definitely adds to the top schools for sure and much consideration," White said.
