Virginia Tech lost their lone 2026 commit today as four-star QB Peyton Falzone out of Nazareth, PA announced his recommitment from the Hokies.

Falzone committed to the Hokies over the summer but has recently taken visits to Penn State and Ohio State. Additionally, Falzone is set to visit Iowa this weekend according to reports.
While Falzone could still end up at VT, that seems very unlikely at this point.
One guy to monitor at QB in the 2026 class is three-star QB Gavin Sidwar out of Warrington, PA who was committed at one point to Rutgers but is uncommitted as of now. Sidwar played on the same 7-on-7 team as a pair of current Hokies in WR Chanz Wiggins and LB Gabe Williams. That obviously could help Tech a lot in their pursuit of the 6’3’’ Pennsylvanian.
We will have more as this story develops.
