2021 LB Aaron Willis is one of the most offered linebackers of his class in the country and should be a highly-recruited player for years to come. The St. Frances Academy recruit has made two trips to Virginia Tech previously and will be making his third trip to Blacksburg tomorrow.
What is Willis hoping to see when he visits Virginia Tech for their home opener?
Willis told us that he wants to "see the atmosphere during game day and learn more about the coaches and academics."
Willis told us that the Hokies, Michigan, and Maryland are the schools that he is looking the most into. In addition, the Hokies and Maryland are currently showing Willis the "most love" though given that he is a sophomore, there is only so much contact that teams can have.
Willis doesn't have any other visits scheduled at the moment, but seems likely to take more visits this fall especially with how many schools are interested in him and likely hoping to get him on campus.
It may be early in his recruitment, but it's clear that the Hokies should be a factor for Aaron Willis over the next couple of years.
