The boos rang loud in Lane Stadium through most of the first half before the stadium became empty by the time the fourth quarter was rolling along during Virginia Tech's 45-26 loss to Old Dominion. This included some chants of 'Fire Pry' that were audible through the windows of the press box during Tech's disastrous 28-0 first half nightmare against ODU.
The loss leaves Pry with a 16-24 record that is the lowest winning percentage for a full-time VT head coach since Charlie Coffey went 12-20-1 from 1971-73.
That's led to many wondering if Pry will even be the head coach next week let alone by the end of this season. After the game, I asked Pry why he feels he is the right guy to continue leading Virginia Tech's football program and here's what he had to say.
