After offering him recently and hosting him on an official visit this weekend, Virginia Tech received some great news today with a commitment from three-star WR Dallan Wright.

Wright becomes the second wide receiver to commit to the Hokies this recruiting cycle along with three-star signee Tyree Saunders while also being the second commit from South Carolina along with three-star OT Parker Clements.
Wright was extremely impressive on the field this past season with 87 receptions for 1,508 yards and 25 touchdowns plus 103 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on 11 carries. What's clear is that the Hokies may have found a diamond in the rough in Wright who helps restore the Hokies' long-term WR depth after the departure of Jacoby Pinckney.
We will have more on this story as it develops.
