The Virginia Tech Hokies have already had three different players wear #25 this season in Steven Peoples (Liberty), Sean Huelskamp (Tennessee), and Tim Settle (Boston College). However, the Hokies haven't had a single player who has started a game this season wear the #25 jersey yet this season.
That will change Saturday.

Cornerback Greg Stroman will wear #25 for the Hokies against East Carolina for Virginia Tech's Homecoming game. The junior cornerback is also the Hokies' featured return man so him getting the special teams player of the week jersey isn't a big surprise especially with how he has been praised for his hard work off the field while doing much better at getting positive yards or fair catches on punt returns.
Stroman also becomes the second-straight player out of Stonewall Jackson High School in Northern Virginia to wear the #25 with Tim Settle also coming out of Stonewall Jackson.
Congrats to Greg Stroman on receiving the honors of wearing the #25 jersey against East Carolina.
