Virginia Tech’s 2025 Spring Game is just about here and while it will certainly be a very vanilla sampling, the offense vs defense format will give us some insights into the depth chart and who may be on the rise.
So with that in mind, here’s my look at some of the top Hokies to watch Saturday.
QB Pop Watson
With Kyron Drones out for the Spring Game, the stage is cleared for Pop Watson to be the center of attention after having a couple strong performances to end last season.
There are plenty of questions as to whether Watson is a fit for Phillip Montgomery's offense or not, given Watson's status as a more true dual-threat quarterback while Montgomery quarterbacks tend to be more pass-first quarterbacks with enough mobility.
