Amidst all of the recent transfers in Virginia Tech's football program, here's some good news for Hokie fans: JUCO defensive tackle Jaden Cunningham has committed to Virginia Tech.

The 6-1, 326-pound Cunningham made his announcement on Twitter on Wednesday evening, saying "100% COMMITTED" with the hashtags #GoHokies and #Itstartsnow.
A three-star recruit, Cunningham had offers from Rutgers, New Mexico, Massachusetts and Marshall, among other DI programs.
Cunningham attended Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, where he played in 10 games this past season. He made 25 tackles, 13 of which were solo. He also made 1.5 sacks on the season.
With seniors Ricky Walker and Vinny Mihota graduating, the defensive line will be young for the 2019 season, which should allow Cunningham to compete for playing time immediately.
