Friday morning was filled with much anticipation in Blacksburg, as Megan Duffy was introduced to the media and the fans as Virginia Tech’s eighth women’s basketball head coach inside Cassell Coliseum. Duffy was hired on Wednesday to succeed Kenny Brooks, who departed for Kentucky the week prior, as the Hokies' newest leader of the program.
While Duffy and Virginia Tech Athletic Director Whit Babcock discussed many topics throughout the lengthy introductory press conference, one of the more intriguing storylines was the insight Duffy provided when questioned about how the roster will look next season.
