Virginia Tech Women's Basketball's 2023-24 season came to an earlier than expected end largely to just unfortunate circumstances out of their control as they lost in the second round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament to Baylor 75-72 without three-time ACC Player of the Year Liz Kitley, who had awful luck suffering a torn ACL late in the season. However, this was still one of the best seasons in program history which included the Hokies winning the ACC regular season title for the first time in VT history, a testament to the sustained excellence throughout the season.
Now, the Hokies now enter an offseason with more questions than expected following developments over the past week.
