With Bullock announcing today, Virginia Tech is definitely the favorite after a visit that went well and left a notable impact on him as he told us.
"Virginia Tech has stood high with me for a while. The visit helped me get a great feel for what it’s like in Blacksburg and clarify some things for me," Bullock said.
Prior to the visit, Bullock had told us that the Hokies were among three schools standing out for him, joined by UCLA and in-state Rutgers. While the Bruins and Scarlet Knights shouldn't be ruled out, it's pretty clear that the Hokies are the overwhelming favorite especially given the timeline and are the team that I'm predicting will land Bullock.
Landing Bullock would be another strong boost for the Hokies' 2021 class giving them a quarterback in a state where the Hokies have had plenty of luck in the past and are actively pursuing four-star RB Audric Estime. Bullock also fits the bigger dual-threat mold at quarterback that Virginia Tech has had their most success with from Jerod Evans to Hendon Hooker.
A commitment from Bullock would also give the Hokies' more momentum as their sixth commit since May 15th when Richmond WR Jaylen Jones started this run for VT. The momentum has come at a good time as well with multiple VT targets looking at committing soon or being rumored to do so including four-star DE Naquan Brown who is set to commit on July 1st.
