#2 Boston College vs. #8 Virginia Tech: October 25, 2007

Ask any Virginia Tech fan which game still haunts their dreams at night, and there's a good chance they answer with something along the lines of, "#%$&@ Matt Ryan!!," which can only mean one thing.

Arguably the most painful night in program history, Boston College's improbable comeback, 14-10 victory over Virginia Tech on a rainy and frigid night in Blacksburg sunk the host's national ambitions. Ryan led the Eagles to score twice in the final 2:11, capped off with his touchdown-pass-that-would-never-land that finally fell into the arms of a wide-open Andre Callendar in the corner of the end zone, silencing the sole-out crowd.
