The Virginia Tech Hokies have seen some roster turnover with 3 NFL Draft declarations and the first news on a player leaving for non-NFL reasons happening yesterday with Seth Dooley. Now, the Hokies have a running back that was buried on the depth chart leaving the football program.

Shai McKenzie announced via Twitter that he will complete his degree this spring and then transfer away from Virginia Tech. McKenzie was buried on the Hokies' depth chart so the decision isn't much of a surprise with most expecting this for a while.
