Three-star DB Eltonino Hicks was on Virginia Tech's radar last year but wasn't among the top of the board defensive back targets. Rather than take a G5 or FCS offer, Hicks chose to reclassify back to the 2027 class in pursuit of a Power 4 landing spots.
