Then, the Hokies added some much-needed quarterback depth earlier today as they gained a commitment from former Nebraska and JUCO QB AJ Bush who is expected to enroll early.
Now, the Hokies have added another commitment to their class.

Three-star DE and former USF commit J'Bril Glaze from Jefferson High School in Tampa, Florida committed to the Virginia Tech Hokies this evening. Since decommitting from USF in early December, not much had come out about Glaze with nothing really suggesting that the Hokies and Glaze had a lot of interest in each other, but clearly there has been plenty of interest and the Hokies have gained their second defensive line commit for the Class of 2017.
J'Bril Glaze is rated as a two-star by Rivals and a three-star by both ESPN and 247 Sports with 247 Sports having him as the 70th best strongside DE, the 247 Sports Composite having him 71st, and ESPN having him as the 113th best overall DE while both ESPN, 247 Sports, and the 247 Sports Composite have him among the top 225 in the state of Florida. Glaze has a solid offer list that includes offers from Tennessee, South Carolina, Michigan State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Maryland, Kentucky, and others though it's unknown how hard many of these schools were pursuing Glaze.
