Three-Star DE Kyree Moyston Commits to Virginia Tech

Defensive Line 1 200328 162059

After a strong second half of June, Virginia Tech kept that momentum going to kick off July landing a commitment from talented three-star DE Kyree Moyston out of the 757.

Moyston becomes the fourth commit from Virginia this cycle along with three-star Lemar Law Jr, three-star TE Harrison Saint Germain, and three-star RB Bryce Duke. He also becomes the second 757 commit and defensive line commit along with the aforementioned Lemar Law.

He chose the Hokies over offers from Indiana, Arizona State, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Washington, Arizona, Kansas, and others.

Moyston has been one of Virginia Tech's top defensive end targets for several months now with the Hokies being in strong position all along using his official visit on the third weekend of June to help seal the deal. Tech also has momentum in the 757 landing two of the top players from that region this cycle, beating out lots of Power 5 programs to keep Moyston and Lemar Law in state.

With Moyston on board, Tech seems likely to take at least 1 more defensive end and maybe two with four-star Richmond standout and VT legacy Bryson Jennings being not only the top DE target but also one of Tech's top remaining overall targets. Georgia DE Michai Hill took an official visit this June and could also be a target along with three-star DE Brian Allen, a recent VT offer, should Tech miss out on Jennings.
