Virginia Tech's strong summer on the recruiting trail continued today as the Hokies landed a commitment from three-star RB Kenji Christian out of Pinson, Alabama.
Kenji Christian, a 6-2, 200-lb RB from Pinson, Ala., commits to #Hokies. Considered by many analysts one of nation's top 45 RBs in the 2021 class. Also looked at offers from Tennessee, WVU, Arkansas and Ole Miss. Has additional offers from #UVa, UGA, Neb., Duke, Ga. Tech, others. https://t.co/HLK7eg7Kap

Christian chose the Hokies over fellow finalist Ole Miss along with a host of other strong offers including Tennessee, Georgia, West Virginia, Nebraska, Arkansas, Virginia, Utah, Georgia Tech, Duke, Washington State, Kansas State, Kansas, and more.
He is Tech's third running back commit this cycle joining three-star Georgia RB Malachi Thomas and versatile three-star South Carolinian Chance Black.
Christian started off his senior season well recently as he ran for 100 yards on only 12 carries this past weekend.
Christian definitely profiles as a bigger back at 6'2'' and around 190 pounds currently with the frame to put on more weight. However, while he has lots of upside in terms of strength, he is already shows good speed and burst currently with Christian bringing immense upside to the table to be a complete runner who can power up the middle or run by people on the edge.
Safe to say, it's easy to see why the Hokies were quite high on Christian both where he's at already and the massive upside he brings to the table.
We will have more as this story develops.
