The Virginia Tech Hokies gained one quarterback commitment early on in the process from athlete DeJuan Ellis but with Ellis also being fairly versatile as someone who could also play wide receiver, the Hokies kept their eyes open on a couple other quarterbacks targets including three-star QB Quincy Patterson from Chicago.
Patterson recently made a trip to the Mid-Atlantic to visit multiple schools in Virginia and the Carolinas including a spot in Blacksburg that went extremely well pushing Virginia Tech to the lead in Patterson's recruitment.
Patterson's visit to Virginia Tech gave the Hokies the momentum they needed to seal the deal and today, Virginia Tech received some good news.
